Arrive Guatemala City 2/3/2011

Day 1- Antigua. Stay at Umma Gumma 45 Quetzales (QL)

Day 2 – Panachel. Stayed at Santa Elena 35 QL. Local owners

Day 3 – St Marcos. Stayed at Unicorn hostel 40QL

Day 4 – St. Pedro. Stayed at Xocomil 30 QL

Day 5,6 – Xela. Stayed at Black Cat 60QL including breakfast

Day 7 – Hue hue. Stayed at Hotel Central 30 QL (quite tranquil place)

Mexico

Day 8-12 – San Cristobal de las Casas. Casa Iguana 100P incl breakfast, Hotel Catrina 70P, and couchsurfed 3 nights with Brenda

Day 13,14 – Palenque. Hostal Jaguar 60P

Day 15 -  Flores (Guatemala). Hotel los amigos 35QL (Guillem) & Guatemala City. stayed at Guatefriends B&B www.guatemalahostal.com – 18 USD per night incl free breakfast and only 1km from hotel (Bridgette)

Day 16 – Flores. hotel Mirador del Lago 80QL double

Day 17,18  – El Remate (Saw Tikal day 18). Sunbreeze Hostel 80QL large clean room with double beds and private bathroom

Day 19,20 – Belize. Hopkins stayed at Lebeha drumming center 30$BZ. Great quiet place

Day 21,22 – Punta Gorda. Nautes Way Guest house 36$BZ. moody owners but nice breakfast for 8$BZ

Day 23,24 – Guatemala. Livingston African Palace Hotel 80QL and 10QL if you want to use the kitchen (for gas). Lovely guate managers and private bathroom.

Day 25 -Rio Dulce. Finca Tatin 110 QL. lovely place on the river to get away from it all.

Day 26, 27- Chiquimula (Ipala Volcano). Stayed at Hotel Jordan 80 QL (not reccommended) and Hotel Hernandez 120QL and reccommended.

Day 28,29- Honduras Copan Ruinas. Hotel Posada del Belsey 300LP incl private bathroom and use of kitchen. has roofop pool!

Day 30 – Gracias (via Santa Rosa de copan and the Flor de Copan Cigar company 40 QL for the tour). Hotel Erick 200 LP incl bathroom

Day 31- Gracias Aguas termales 250LP. Termales are nice but would not stay there unless you want to party until 5am.

Day 32 – Comayagua. Hotel Honduras 150LP and the find of the trip!! incl cable tv and in the centre of town!

Day 33 – Nicaragua, Ocotal. Stayed at the Papeleria with the piñadas 100Cordobas but very basic

Day 34,35  – Hotel Chepito 120C and cleanest rooms in central america!

Day 36,37 – Leon. Hostel L’Albergue 14$US. wi fi and kitchen

Day 28,39 – Granada. Hostel El Chelero 12$US wi fi, internet and kitchen.
